Origin Story
Cindy Moon and Peter Parker were both bitten by the same radioactive spider during a school field trip. However, while Peter quickly developed his powers and became Spider-Man, Cindy was bitten on the ankle and the spider’s venom was dormant in her system.
After the field trip, Cindy was kidnapped by Ezekiel Sims, a mysterious figure who warned her that she was in danger from Morlun, a powerful being who hunted people with spider-powers. Ezekiel locked Cindy in a bunker under his apartment building, where she remained for 13 years.
During her time in the bunker, Cindy’s spider-powers began to manifest. She developed the ability to spin organic silk from her fingertips, as well as enhanced strength, speed, and agility. She also developed a psychic connection with Spider-Man.
